Women in Science

On the occasion of International Women's Rights Day on March 8, the French Embassy, in collaboration with the Embassies of Sweden, Canada, the United Kingdom and Italy in Austria and in partnership with the Austrian Academy of Sciences, invites you to panel discussions on the role of women in science (Women in Science: Breaking frontiers).

High-level experts will offer a global perspective on the place of women in the STIM disciplines (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).

Two French speakers will participate:

• Maureen CLERC, director of the Inria Center of the University of Côte d'Azur, specialized in numerical models in bioelectromagnetism, signal processing and brain-computer interfaces.
• Angelique SANCHEZ, Gender Officer at the Institute of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
