Erasmus+ Staff Training, Ireland

The Digital Transitions course is an intensive professional training course for university teachers and staff who want to get up to speed and stay ahead of the latest technology trends in education. You will be looking to gain a better understanding of active digital citizenship and digital literacy and be keen to learn how to incorporate these ideas into your teaching.

Lesson modules include:

• An Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ChatGPT in Education - How should teachers and students use it?
• Creating Teaching Resources with ChatGPT and Other AI Tools
• Using Corpora to Teach Subject-Specific Terminology
• Gamification in the Classroom
• News & Media Literacy - Is it fake news? Can I trust Wikipedia?
• Using Youtube and other Open-Source Videos to Stimulate Learning
• Using Mentimeter and other Interactive Tools
