Japanese Science Day
TU Wien cordially invites to the ‘Japanese Science Day’ on Saturday, 5 October 2024. The event will be implemented in cooperation with the Department of Japanese Studies of the University of Vienna (Japanese Studies Alumni Network/JAN), which is organizing an ‘Aki-matsuri’ (Japanese autumn festival) on the same day. The event will provide an opportunity to display the wide range and high quality of scientific cooperation between Austria and Japan, to network and to learn from each other.
When? Saturday, 5 October 2024, 11am-1:30pm
Where? TU Wien, Karlsplatz 13, Prechtlsaal (ground floor) afterwards Campus Altes AKH, Spitalgasse 2, courtyard 3 (12:00-22:00)

Programme:
- from 11am: Presentation of Japan-related projects and cooperation followed by a networking brunch
- from approx. 2pm: change to Aki-matsuri (Japanese autumn festival) at the AAKH
Who? Scientists, researchers and students from Japan or Austria with a connection to and/or interest in Japan
