Zum Start der dritten Ausschreibung im Frühjahr 2025 gibt eine begleitende Roadshow Einblicke in den neuen Call, informiert zu aktuellen Entwicklungen im Bereich der Mikrodaten-/Registerforschung und vernetzt Fördergeber*innen, datenbereitstellende Einrichtungen, Forscher*innen und die Community.

Im Rahmen der Roadshow besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit Geförderten der ersten Vergaberunde über ihre Erfahrungen auszutauschen und mehr über einen wichtigen neu verfügbaren Datenschatz zu erfahren: das Austrian Socio-Economic Panel (ASEP), das mit dem ASEP Survey und der Administrative Data Collection for the Social Sciences (ADCOL) zahlreiche neue Möglichkeiten für die Forschung mit Registerdaten bietet.

With the ‘Data:Research:Austria’ funding program, the Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW) is funding research projects in the field of data/microdata research on an open-topic basis throughout Austria.
At the start of the third call for proposals in spring 2025, an accompanying roadshow will provide insights into the new call, provide information on current developments in the field of data/ microdata research and network funding bodies, data-providing institutions, researchers and the community. As part of the roadshow, there will be the opportunity to talk to grantees of the first call about their experiences and to learn more about an important new data resource: the Austrian Socio-Economic Panel (ASEP), which offer numerous new opportunities for data research with the ASEP Survey and the Administrative Data Collection for the Social Sciences (ADCOL).
