International Staff Week, Portugal

Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Porto, will host the International Staff Week 2026 from 15 to 18 June 2026, dedicated to reflecting on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the internationalization of higher education. Over four days, participants will explore how AI is transforming key areas such as academic mobility, language learning, internationalization management, and global engagement in universities.

The main objective of the event is to deepen the understanding of the role of Artificial Intelligence in reshaping core dimensions of internationalization, including mobility management, language learning, process digitalization, and global engagement strategies in higher education institutions. Through sessions led by experts in digital transformation, language technologies, and AI ethics, participants will be able to share institutional experiences, identify tools and approaches applicable to their professional contexts, and, at the same time, experience the city of Porto, its culture, and its academic environment.
