Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme, France

This programme (3 ECTS) is designed for advanced Bachelor, Master’s and PhD students in geology, geosciences, geothermal energy or related fields, particularly those interested in subsurface resources and the energy transition.

Through a combination of lectures, virtual tools (including immersive VR geological visualization), and field-based learning, students will explore how structural geology, deformation, and fluid circulation control geothermal productivity and critical raw material enrichment in geothermal systems.

The field-based component will take place in France (with visits in Germany), focusing on the Upper Rhine Graben and surrounding geological contexts.
