Am 28. Jänner diskutierten Abgeordnete des Europäischen Parlaments mit 24 Organisationen bestehend aus Nationalagenturen, der Academic Cooperation Association (ACA) sowie weiteren Stakeholdern die Ausgestaltung von Erasmus+ ab 2028. Die Beiträge betonten die zentrale Rolle von Mobilität, Kooperation und der internationalen Dimension des Programms. Breiter Konsens bestand darin, dass das vorgeschlagene Budget von 40 Mrd. Euro nicht ausreicht. Gefordert wurde eine ambitionierte Finanzierung von mindestens 60 Mrd. Euro, um Europas Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und globale Vernetzung nachhaltig zu stärken. |
On 28 January, Members of the European Parliament discussed the design of Erasmus+ from 2028 onwards with 24 organisations consisting of national agencies, the Academic Cooperation Association (ACA) and other stakeholders. The contributions emphasised the central role of mobility, cooperation and the international dimension of the programme. There was broad consensus that the proposed budget of €40 billion is insufficient. Ambitious funding of at least €60 billion was called for in order to strengthen Europe's competitiveness and global connectivity in the long term. |
