Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme, Croatia
Researchers, experts, decision makers and interested parties are invited to join the Erasmus+ BIP “Food Forward: Closed-Loop Farming for a Sustainable Society”, that will be held in Osijek, Croatia, from 15 - 19 June 2026.
The BIP will provide an intensive exploration of the transformative power of agricultural systems that bridge the gap between nutritional security and environmental recovery. The main focus will be on agricultural systems that work with nature, not against it, to foster a society that is both well-nourished and environmentally responsible. During the blended intensive programme, participants will engage in practical workshops, debates, and individual reflections on Food Sovereignty vs. Efficiency, elimination of the concept of waste in modern society, and the potential for closed-loop agriculture to serve as a primary public health system. Participants will gain practical knowledge and skills in regenerative practices that restore ecosystems rather than deplete them. They will learn about nutrient-dense products, ethical consumption, sustainable supply chains, and how to transform waste through upcycling and bio-conversion technologies.
