Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme, Croatia

This International Staff Week is designed for academic and administrative staff from European universities. The programme focuses on developing intercultural competence through collaborative, practice-oriented teamwork. Participants work in international groups to analyse real intercultural challenges in higher education, explore communication barriers, design inclusive classroom strategies, and develop institutional tools for supporting international students.

Instead of traditional lectures, the programme is built around simulations, case studies, and design-thinking activities, leading to the creation of a final Intercultural Competence Toolkit for Universities. The Staff Week aims to strengthen international cooperation, improve inclusive teaching practices, and enhance student integration in multicultural academic environments across Europe.
