Training & Cooperation Activity, Montenegro

12-15 October 2026 in Podgorica | Application deadline: 18 June 2026

The German National Agency for Erasmus+ (DAAD), in collaboration with the National Erasmus+ Office in Montenegro and the national agencies from Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic, is organising the international Erasmus+ cooperation seminar “Western Balkans in the Focus: Promoting and deepening cooperation in the Erasmus+ programme” in Podgorica from 12 to 15 October.

The aim of the event is to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions in Central Europe and the Western Balkan countries of Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo, and to initiate new Erasmus+ collaborations. The focus will be on funding opportunities under KA1 Mobility, KA2 Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), Erasmus Mundus and Jean Monnet Actions.

The programme includes a site visit to higher education institutions in Podgorica and Cetinje, as well as a two-day networking seminar with workshops on topics such as skills development, recognition of qualifications, entrepreneurship and joint study programmes. The aim is to develop concrete project ideas, exchange good practices and further expand international cooperation in the higher education sector.

The event is aimed at representatives of higher education institutions from the participating countries who wish to deepen international cooperation within the framework of Erasmus+.

Participation in this event, which is taking place as part of the Erasmus+ Training and Cooperation Activities (TCA), is subsidised by the European Union. All on-site costs (accommodation, meals, seminar fees) are usually covered by the organiser. A refund of travel expenses may be claimed retrospectively from the OeAD upon presentation of the relevant supporting documents.
