“Applications of lookdown constructions”
Abstract:
In this talk, we discuss applications of the lookdown construction to derive properties of population genetic models. We show how this representation allows us to obtain results on the time to the most recent common ancestor in the Seed-Bank coalescent, characterize particle systems conditioned on fixation via changes of measure, and derive the asymptotic genealogies for the logistic branching processes in the regime of large carrying capacity.
This talk is based on joint works with María Clara Fittipaldi, Ruairi Garrett and Adrian Gonzalez Casanova
