CLIP-IN was a political science research project funded by the Austrian Climate Research Programme and conducted at BOKU-InFER between 2011 and 2014. CLIP-IN aimed to: - Analyse the role integrated, multi-sectoral strategies played in integrated climate policies into other policy fields and draw lessons from the implementation of "older" integrated strategies (e.g. on sustainable development) to "newer" ones (e.g. on climate change adaptation);
- Analyse how the Austrian, German and Swiss authorities integrated climate change mitigation in their national and regional building policies;
- Draw lessons on how climate policy integration can be improved in federal state settings.
