Step 2: Check the study requirements

Here you will find all the important information about admission and the respective study requirements.

Step 3: Observe the admission deadline

In principle, you can start your studies at BOKU in the winter semester and in the summer semester, for which there are two time slots that you must not miss.

Here you can find the current deadlines!

Step 4: Admission

Depending on your previous education in Austria or abroad, you have to follow different steps for admission.

Step 6: Activate BOKU Card

The BOKU-Card is an official photo ID and serves as proof of your student status. You can also use it to use the university library, to get a discount in the cafeteria, to log in for printing or copying at the BOKUprint multifunctional devices and to log in for crediting at the BOKUprint cash machines. You will receive the BOKU-Card at the registration desk and have to activate it at a terminal to make it valid. Here you can find all information about activation and terminal locations.

Step 7: Activate BOKU IT account

When you are admitted, you will receive a PIN code to activate your BOKU account. You will need this, for example, to register for courses. You can activate your BOKU account here! Here you can find instructions and information!

If you have not received a PIN code or have lost it, please contact studienservices@boku.ac.at
