Important: You can only apply for the summer semester until 30th of November for CEEPUS Freemover Mobility. You cannot apply for the winter semester for CEEPUS Freemover scholarships.

Please read all the general information (how to apply (including list of equivalent courses for recognition of courses at BOKU), grants....) concerning CEEPUS provided by BOKU-International Relations before you read this site!

You have to follow the instructions at these sites and in addition you have to consider the following information:

CEEPUS Freemover scholarships are grants which are not used by the CEEPUS network mobility. You can choose any university within a CEEPUS country by yourself. The questions of crediting and the proof of language have to be organised by yourself.

Please consider: Network mobility has priority. This means that just grants which are not used within the networks are free for Freemover mobility. You have better chances to get a scholarship when you apply within a CEEPUS network. The same application requirements as for the network mobilities apply.

Additional requirements for Freemover:

You have to fulfill the general CEEPUS requirements (see on the site requirements).

Additionally you have to upload:

  • Letter of acceptance of the host university
  • Confirmation of release of tuition fees at the host university
  • Two letters of recommendation of BOKU professors
