USAGE-NG aims to empower all kinds of farming students to use digital agricultural technologies to monitor, quantify and mitigate the impacts of climate change on their individual farms.

VNFIL

The aim of the project "VNFIL" (Validation of non-formal and informal learning) 2018-2024 is to develop methods, tools and standardized procedures, as well as to test and evaluate an application scenario for the crediting of non-formally and informally acquired competences.  An important basis for this is the "Concept on possible validation procedures in the context of LLL" developed in 2019.

SUGAR AA

Within the project "Sustainable Landfill Gas Emission Reduction in Addis Ababa - SUGAR AA", 2015-2023, the Division of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning supports the establishment of a training centre in cooperation with schools and the development of a composting course as an LLL offer on site. 

The SUGAR AA project is a BOKU Klimaschutzprojekt.

Naturlabor Altenberg

The Naturlabor Altenberg offers BOKU course leaders a new opportunity to conduct excursions and exercises, master's and bachelor's theses, as well as courses and projects in the field of lifelong learning.

we4DRR

In cooperation with the Ministerium für ein lebenswertes Österreich a women's network was launched to strengthen, promote and make visible the cooperation of women in disaster risk reduction (we4DRR) on a long-term and sustainable basis. One of the key factors for success is good cooperation and networking among the actors.

LaWEEEda

The Erasmus + project "LaWEEEda" aims to improve and strengthen e-waste education at universities in Brazil and Nicaragua. The project consortium consisting of three European universities (Vienna, Northampton, Hamburg), four Latin American universities (Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Léon) and four companies tries to improve the dialogue between science and practice in the field of e-waste during the project period 10/2016 - 10/2019.

In cooperation with the Institut für Abfallwirtschaft.

GOFE

The aim of the research project “Global Outlook on Forest Education (GOFE)” is to conduct a global scientific survey on forest education at universities.

LifeADA

The general objectives of the project are to modernize and harmonize higher education by promoting lifelong learning related to sustainable agriculture in non-EU Alpine-Danube-Adriatic countries and to improve networking between EU and partner countries.

NQR
