In her PhD project, Julia focuses on applying a provisioning systems approach for transformative climate adaptation. Specifically, she is looking at heat stress in labor-intensive sectors in Austria and examines the root causes of vulnerability of workers. Moreover, she is exploring transformative adaptation measures that enhance worker's wellbeing and secure sustainable provision of essential services.
