Danyal’s PhD research focuses on resistances against climate policies at the level of the state. In particular, he is interested in the dynamics and conflicts surrounding the obstruction and dismantling of decarbonization measures and targets in the European Union and how they relate to the rise of right-wing populism and geopolitical tensions.
