The aim of the woodlog study is to show the framework and the improvement opportunities of the wood supply chain, which will arise by establishing a Wood Logistics Control Center. In addition, this report provides various views and a status of wood transportation in Austria. The results of this study rely on a comprehensive literature overview on available related works which are found both in published project reports and scientific journals. The sector's view was surveyed by the use of qualified interviews with about 40 persons representing the spectrum of actors in the forest wood supply chain. Download Full Summary
