Harald Grabher, PhD student at the Doctoral School Social Ecology (DSSE) at BOKU Vienna, is one of 12 candidates awarded with a membership in the Empowered Futures Research School. Led by the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), the research school involves a strong network of industry, academic and societal partners, appealing to researchers interested in renewable and the low-carbon energy transition. The programme aims to impart competences on just energy transition and dealing with social and environmental controversies. Members benefit from fully funded courses, workshops, policy roundtables, field trips, co-publishing opportunities and travel grants for three years.
