The International Summer School “Environment and Climate Protection and Sustainable Mobility” will be held in cooperation with BOKU and TU Budapest in Vienna and Budapest from August 5-9 2019. The Summer School provides a number of lectures and excursions on various topics in the context of global and climate change challenges. Visit of the BOKU doctoral school ABCM at three Japanese universities
17 PhD students of the BOKU doctorate school ABCM ("Advanced Biorefineries - Chemistry and Materials") visited three internationally leading Japanese institutions in this field during a ten-day excursion: Shinshu University (fiber science), Kyoto University (chemistry of lignocellulosics) and Kyoto University - Uji Campus (nanocelluloses and composites).

LTS with Dr. Jack Stilgoe
Dr. Jack Stilgoe, University College London (UCL), will be giving a lecture on "How experiments become futures - Social learning for self-driving cars" as part of the LunchTimeSeries on Law, Technology and Society (LTS). The lecture will take place at Guttenberghaus (Ground floor, meeting Seminar Room SR 02) on 27 June 2019 from 12.00 - 1.30 pm. The event is open to all and participation is free of charge. Inter-university project DiLaAG offers 7 PhD positions
The project "DiLaAg - Digitalization and Innovation Laboratory in Agricultural Sciences" pursues the objective of establishing a scientific nucleus in the field of digitalization in agriculture and creating a platform for research, development, training and consulting, which is also open to the public. Within this project, 7 PhD positions are offered. Deadline for submission is the 26th of June 2019.
