Ms. Marion Brunner, phD student since 2007 at the Department of Chemistry, Division of Analytical Chemistry, VIRIS Lab at the university of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, won the 3rd prize.
Best poster award for Luke Omondi Olang
Mr. Luke Omondi Olang, a researcher from Egerton University in Kenya, who is currently undertaking his doctorate studies at the Institute of Water Management, Hydrology and Hydraulic Engineering, BOKU University, Vienna with the support of the ÖAD North-South-Dialogue Scholarship Programme, recently was awarded the best poster presentation for his contribution to the "12th Biennial Conference of the Euro-Mediterranean Network of Experimental and Representative Basins (ERB), Hydrological Extremes in Small Basins" held in Cracow from September 18th - 20th , 2008.
Long Night of Research at the BOKU
"What does the future of growing old in the country look like?", "Spatial planning measures for flood protection" and "What do soil and climate protection have in common?" are the titles of the three stations of the "Long Night of Research 2008" on Saturday from 4:25 - 8:30 p.m. at the Institute of Spatial Planning in the top floor of the Wilhelm-Exner Building.
