In autumn, members of the IGCE team joined forces to fabricate a BioWall test specimen in our laboratory, transport it to Linz, and subject it to a standardised fire resistance test at IBS Linz.

The results are very promising:

  • The wall showed a strong performance during the fire test

  • After removal of the flame, no self-sustained combustion occurred

    This was a true team effort, spanning fabrication, logistics, testing, and evaluation.
