Over the past months, we had the pleasure of welcoming several classes from secondary schools and high schools to our IGCE lab at the BOKU University.

Roman, Peter, Flo, and Jakob guided the students through our laboratories, talked about sustainability in construction, and shared insights into our research ranging from timber and concrete to earth construction, bio-based materials, and circular design.

Seeing their curiosity, questions, and enthusiasm reminded us why outreach and science communication truly matter. Perhaps some of them will one day study at BOKU or become part of the future construction sector.
