Soil samples from Hollabrunn
As part of our research project “Earth Construction of the Future”, funded by Land Niederösterreich, we are collecting soil samples from various locations in Hollabrunn, Lower Austria. We extend our sincere thanks to the Municipality of Hollabrunn and Land NÖ for their strong support.
In our laboratories, the samples undergo comprehensive analysis, including particle size distribution, geo-mechanical behaviour, as well as chemical and mineralogical composition. Our objective is to develop optimal earth mixtures for different construction applications and to evaluate their mechanical performance.
Experiencing sustainable construction concepts in practice was both inspiring and enriching for all participants.
