IGCE showcases Biobrick at Build’n Green 2026
: The IGCE participated in Build'n Green 2026, presenting its latest developments in sustainable and circular construction to an international audience.
At the exhibition, the team showcased the BioBrick, a novel bio-based building material developed within IGCE's research activities. The exhibit attracted considerable interest from visitors around the world and provided an excellent opportunity to discuss innovative approaches to circular construction, renewable materials, and the future of sustainable building.
In addition to the exhibition, IGCE also contributed to the scientific programme of the conference. As part of Key Topic 4: Deconstruction, Recycling and Reuse, the team presented its latest research findings and discussed current challenges and opportunities in advancing circular construction practices.
The event brought together researchers, industry representatives, and practitioners from across the globe, fostering valuable exchange and new perspectives on the transformation of the built environment.
We would like to thank Advantage Austria (WKO) for organizing this inspiring event and for providing a platform to present our research and engage with the international construction community.
